Today I meditated on Teaching 8. It was incredibly powerful for me. Every single word stirred emotions within me. But when the teacher led us through the dharana, I burst into tears from both the pain I had experienced over the years and all the joy that permeates my life today.
As I wept, I repeatedly invoked Baba’s name in an inner voice that encompassed my devotion, happiness, and gratitude to Baba.
I feel so privileged to follow these teachings every day, offered to us during the precious month of Baba’s birthday. These teachings keep me constantly in tune with my inner Self and with the grace that dwells in my heart.

I meditated with the dharana on Teaching 8. I had a deep meditation. As I was coming out of meditation, I felt a warm glow spread out from my heart into my whole being. It was very gentle, like the gentlest sunlight, only it came from inside, from an inner sun. I could feel this inner light healing my body; a sense of ease and well-being filled me from within.
I felt as if the shakti in Baba’s chaitanya words took me beyond all thoughts, feelings, and words and into the divine source of everything.

I realized from contemplating Baba’s teaching that when I speak sweet words to another person, it can support them in having positive thoughts and feelings. This is also true about speaking sweet words to myself. By doing so, I can uplift my own thoughts and feelings.
