I loved watching these “visual vignettes.” I’m touched by the tenderness I see in the photograph of the crocuses. How tenderly, and yet so firmly, the purple petals hold the thin, delicate orange strands in the center of the flower. I could feel the same tenderness in the way Gurumayi is holding the cat in her arms in the previous photograph.

I feel that Gurumayi has been holding me too—gracefully, tenderly, and with loving care. I feel the strength of the bond between us. And I am grateful for the sweet love flowing through this gallery.

    Dombivli, India

What a divine experience! Listening to Eknath Maharaj’s abhanga, so beautifully sung by Viju Kulkarni, filled my heart with love and deep gratitude.

Having Gurumayi’s darshan brought a profound sense of peace and stillness within me. A thousand thoughts may be flowing through my mind, but the moment I have darshan of the Guru, or even when I simply remember the Guru, everything becomes quiet. My heart is filled with an indescribable sense of love, serenity, and gratitude.

In those moments, I feel completely immersed in the love and grace of the Guru. There is a beautiful stillness within, a feeling that transcends words.

    Gandhinagar, India

As I received Gurumayi’s darshan while viewing the gallery and listening to the abhanga, I became aware that I was seeing the grounds of Shree Muktananda Ashram and the world itself through Gurumayi’s eyes.

These “visual vignettes” gently took me back to the beginning of the year, to winter in Shree Muktananda Ashram, and then to the arrival of spring with the appearance of the crocus. I started to appreciate even more the dance of light and shade, of worship and darshan of Bade Baba and his padukas, of seeing the beauty in the joy of young children and animals, and of discovering hearts in nature.

I perceived Gurumayi’s love for her devotees, and I am so grateful for Gurumayi’s generosity in giving us her darshan through this exquisite gallery.

    Sydney, Australia

Since having Gurumayi’s darshan in the new photo gallery and seeing once again the first line of Gurumayi’s Message, “Renew! Reset your mind,” my world has changed—and surprisingly quickly!

I am reciting Shri Guru Gita each day. Today my state afterwards was so light. It felt like a different world! It was so powerful that I felt like I had just offered seva as a pujari at a Siddha Yoga Ashram. It was a beautiful experience. I had no idea how powerful this darshan of Gurumayi and the recitation of Shri Guru Gita would be.

    Washington, United States

These photos of Gurumayi have “renewed” and “reset” my understanding of the sentence I have heard so often from her at the start of her talks: “With great respect, with great love, I welcome you all with all my heart.” I feel Gurumayi’s respect and love radiating through and permeating these images of her. And I can feel her respect and love within myself too.

    Florida, United States

How mysterious and wondrous it is that these photos stir such deep love within me, and that Gurumayi’s presence is so palpable.

I truly enjoy seeing Gurumayi. My world comes to a standstill. Silence spreads, and my heart overflows with love. There is no greater joy for me than feeling love for my Guru. This love is like a balm that gives me the strength to continue on my path.

    Konolfingen, Switzerland

These images of Shri Gurumayi and Shree Muktananda Ashram, along with the abhanga by Eknath Maharaj, transformed my screen into a divine portal. I was inspired to look up the translation of the abhanga in which Eknath sings, “Today is the most auspicious day because I have had the darshan of saints.”

With tears in my eyes and heart overflowing, I know the truth of Eknath’s words.

    California, United States

As I watched the unfolding of this exquisite collection of photos, my heart welled up with great love for Gurumayi’s presence in my life.

I recalled that when Gurumayi visited our city in 1992, my husband called me from work to say he’d pick me up, and we could to go to the hotel and be with her. I’d never met Gurumayi in person. That particular day I was very depressed and doing laundry, and I told him to go without me. He convinced me that I could do laundry some other time and that I should come “to meet a great being!” Well, I did meet Gurumayi that day—and my life was changed forever.

In the years since I lost my husband, one source of comfort has been my love of cats. When I saw the photo of Gurumayi holding the kitty in the hallway at Shree Muktananda Ashram, my heart overflowed with love and joy. Once again, Gurumayi has befriended my soul. My heart expands with profound gratitude and love.

    California, United States

My heart melts every time Gurumayi’s photo appears on the screen. I wonder—what is this mystical connection? Something within me awakens every time I see her.

Gurumayi is my home. She is my source. She is my destination.

    Thane West, India

Hearing Viju Kulkarni sing Aza Uttama Sudina and seeing Gurumayi made me smile with love and happiness. I remember singing this abhanga to Gurumayi years ago. Today, I am assimilating my love and joy at having a Guru, at seeing Shri Gurumayi, and remembering how happy I always am to know she is in my life.

    Colorado, United States

This morning, when I opened “In the Company of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda” and received the golden darshan of Gurumayi, I felt as though I was truly with Gurumayi in Bhagavan Nityananda’s sacred Temple, surrounded by her divine presence. I could feel my heart becoming still and tender. In that moment, it felt as though nothing separate remained within me—only love, devotion, and complete surrender to Gurumayi.

As I gazed upon her, I felt my mind, my thoughts, my emotions, and my entire life naturally offering themselves to her. A prayer arose from deep within: “Gurumayi, immerse me so completely in your love that my every thought, action, and breath are dedicated to your grace and to the path you have shown.” In that sacred moment, nothing seemed more important than Gurumayi’s grace and presence.

    Ahmedabad, India

The events in the outer world can weigh a little heavily on my heart, and opening the Siddha Yoga path website early this morning felt like a profound gift—arriving at the exact, perfect moment.

It is precisely in moments like these that my awareness is reawakened to the truth: the Guru is always present, knowing, supporting, and protecting. Seeing the form of Gurumayi, whom I love so deeply, brought back a beautiful flood of memories and felt like a timeless embrace. This darshan reawakens my feelings of trust, surrender, and gratitude.
