While looking at these photos, I thought about the way my relationship with nature has changed since I began practicing Siddha Yoga. Before receiving shaktipat, birdsong, the antics of squirrels, the sounds of leaves rustling in the trees—all these were in the background for me, not part of my conscious awareness.

Now, on my early morning walks, while the birds sing their arias, it's as if I am surrounded by a grand opera. I can see how my perception has been refined over the years, through grace and the Siddha Yoga practices. My appreciation of the splendor of this world has been deepened and enhanced.

With all my heart, Gurumayi, thank you.

How exquisite is the golden light reflecting on water from the sky! I often see the same thing inside myself when I close my eyes in meditation.

I appreciate these photos of nature at Shree Muktananda Ashram so very much! They carry me there, and I can experience a transforming, sweet, invigorating, and wondrous energy.

Thank you so much, Gurumayi!

I offer seva at Shree Muktananda Ashram, and I often walk on the paths at Lake Nityananda, where I delight in the meadow grasses and the flowers, the flying birds, jumping fish, grazing deer, and the grand vistas. Yet the fresh perspectives and beauty of the photographs in this Nature Gallery add a whole new dimension of detail, enjoyment, and love to my experience of nature in and around the lake!
