One night, as I lay down in bed and closed my eyes, an immense expanse of brilliant white light appeared in my inner vision. As bright as a powerful flash of lightning, the light remained perfectly stable for a couple of minutes; this gave me time to closely observe it. I realized that its width and height were infinite. Intuitively I felt the light was also infinite in its depth.

Although I had never experienced anything like this in my whole life, I quickly became aware that I was in the presence of God himself.

Suddenly, I became aware that there was an unbroken flow of energy emanating from this expanse of light and entering me at every single moment. I had never been aware of this wonder before.

I was even more amazed when I realized that this flow of energy was actually a flow of uninterrupted love transmitted directly from God to my soul and I sensed that this happens, unceasingly, within every single person.

    Laval, Canada

When I met Gurumayi, I was eager to know if God existed and, if so, to know his true nature.

A few days later, I had a dream. In it, I saw the whole universe saturated in love, and I realized that God was none other than this universal love.

I believed in love so, when I understood that God is love, I could believe in God!

    Marlanval, France

Recently, I visited Gurudev Siddha Peeth. One fine day, with my Guru’s grace, a wave of uplifting thoughts washed over me after singing the Shiva Arati. I felt that God wants to be with everyone, all the time.

I wondered: “How is it possible for God to be with everyone all the time unless he manifests in all animate and inanimate things that support life?”

My vision suddenly changed. Everywhere I looked, I was seeing and receiving God’s immense love.

These uplifting thoughts have made a permanent space within me. Whenever I revisit them now, I feel an immense wave of gratitude for Bade Baba.

    If “God is One,”

    There is no other.

    If there is no other,

    There is no fear.

    There is only love.

All is God, all is love.

    New Jersey, United States

When I read this teaching today, I realized why I feel so happy whenever I feel love. It is because I experience God in me at those times.

My Siddha Yoga sadhana has transformed my anxiety and fear into love and peace. My love overflows not only for my Guru and fellow beings, but also when I water the plants or feed the dogs or simply gaze at the sky. Now, most of the time, I live with this feeling of love for all.

    Indore, India

Whenever I take a walk in nature, I feel the presence of God in the stillness. I experience God’s infinite love in the myriad birds, flowers, leaves, and butterflies that I encounter. I feel that nature is God’s everlasting temple of healing and rejuvenation.

    Ville St. Laurent, Canada

As I view this illustration in which the word Love is illuminated by the shining dawn, I visualize the sun spreading its rays on the earth. I understand that, in reality, these rays are rays of God’s love, creating unity and harmony on the planet.

During my first meditation many years ago, a shining dawn illuminated my inner being. Afterwards, I experienced love everywhere. I have come to the conclusion that it is my duty to illuminate my mind through meditation and to spread, in my turn, the love that God has so generously bestowed on me.

    Rodez, France

This teaching reminds me of an experience I had a few years ago when I went to visit Bade Baba’s Samadhi Shrine in Ganeshpuri. I made my way to Kailas Nivas, where Bade Baba had stayed. As I bowed to his subtle presence within this space, I was flooded with love. I felt saturated with bliss, and a feeling of intense love and oneness with everyone I came across remained with me for a long time that day.

I am overflowing with gratitude as I realize that Bade Baba had given me a direct experience of this beautiful teaching that “God is One, and he is of the form of Love.”

    Newcastle, Australia

Bade Baba is my guiding light, and with every step I take, I feel his divine love removing all my doubts and insecurities. I am immensely grateful for the teachings and love I am continuously receiving. This divine love spreads through to my surroundings, and I receive it back from trees, flowers, the sky, and all the beauty in nature.

I love Gurumayi with so much gratitude, and I know this will last forever.

    Lions Head, Canada

It was through my Guru’s grace in 1991 that I truly embraced and experienced God’s love through the most exquisite experience of shaktipat initiation at my first Siddha Yoga satsang at the local Siddha Yoga meditation center. My heart cracked open and love poured out like molten lava. For the first time, I embraced love in its purest form. I could feel this love flowing out through my body, reaching everyone in the room and beyond. Tears of joy were streaming down my face.

My Guru, Gurumayi, had given me the experience of God! And that experience was indeed that “God is One, and he is of the form of Love.”

    Nairobi, Kenya

I read this teaching, closed my eyes, and suddenly spontaneous love for all started emerging from my heart. I started remembering the faces of all the dear ones in my life, and I experienced that all of them are filled with God’s love. This divine awareness was hidden in my heart until I read this teaching from Bade Baba.

    Amrawati, India

After viewing Bhagavan Nityananda’s Teachings, I sat for meditation. I imagined myself as one with Bade Baba, seeing my hands and feet as his. I visualized our oneness shining brightly as the radiant Self, sending out love to all.

Soon, I experienced a scintillating rainbow of light emerging from this image of our oneness, wrapping itself around me in a blanket of love and joy.

When I immerse myself in these teachings of Bade Baba and view his photos on the Siddha Yoga path website, I feel as if my heart is being bathed in scintillating bubbles of light.
