AUM Nature Gallery Part I

As I savored the photos in the AUM Gallery, I was delighted to notice that over time I have learned see AUM in the photographs almost instantly. I realized that I am able to see AUM in the curling dry leaf, in land curving around Lake Nityananda, and in deep shades of a tree glade because I have practiced looking for the AUM.
 
I remembered the teaching given to us by Baba Muktananda: “See God in each other.” I realized that with practice and willingness, I can surely learn to perceive God in everyone and everything.

I love the infinite forms and variation of the AUM gallery. I appreciate the creativity of angles, light, and color seen through various photographers' eyes.
 
Today I became immersed more deeply than usual and found myself grateful for the sounds of the wind sighing ever so gently through the images. I went to turn up the volume, but of course it wasn't a recording. My awareness was drawn even deeper within, and delight bubbled up with every image.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful images of AUM in nature. Viewing this gallery has become one of my favorite morning activities. Recently, I have noticed that I’ve become more aware of nature as I go through my day, and I am amazed that I find numerous images of AUM all around me, especially in the cloud formations.
 
I believe these images of AUM were always there, but I didn’t notice until I began looking for them. Through spending time with this gallery each day, I have become attuned to seeing AUM in nature. This makes me think of Baba's teaching about the need to change the prescription of our glasses— which, for me, means that I can see God, I can see the Self all around, if I look with the right kind of awareness.
 
I understand that there is so much more to the nature galleries than what first appeared to me. With a heart full of gratitude, I offer salutations to Gurumayi, again and again.

The AUM Nature Gallery and Hearts in Nature are delightful and joyful. Now when I go for walks, I look for these images everywhere.
 
It’s been easier for me to find hearts in clouds than the symbol for AUM. One day, nature playfully supported my search for AUM. While looking at the sunny sky filled with fluffy clouds, I soon found a heart. Just next to it was a cloud shaped like an arrow that was pointing to the right. My eyes followed the direction the arrow was pointing—and there was a beautiful AUM!

This AUM Nature Gallery was a treat for me! It refreshed my memories of seeing AUM at various places and times, which I now see were very important points in my sadhana.

One of these experiences happened when I was in Gurudev Siddha Peeth participating in a Pilgrimage to the Heart retreat. We were asked to go to Dakshin Kashi for a japa walk. As I was returning, my heart overflowed with love and gratitude for the state of mind I was in. Very naturally, I looked up at the sky, and there was a big AUM in the formation of the clouds. I wanted to share it with the other participants, but we were in silence.

Whenever I see AUM in the sky or nature, I feel that Shri Gurumayi is all-pervasive and giving me her darshan.

As I was finding the AUM in each photo in the gallery, I remembered that Bade Baba used to teach that everything is AUM. Now, I have decided to look for AUM in nature when I go for my morning walk, and to meditate for a while on the images of AUM that I find.

When I was looking at these pictures, I was finding AUM in each of them. I became very quiet inside.Then the thought came to my mind that the whole world, the whole universe is Lord Shiva. I could feel myself opening to that awareness.

It is wonderful to see how those I love are touched by the grace within the images on the Siddha Yoga path website. Recently, I was showing the AUM Nature Gallery to a friend of mine. At the end of the viewing, my friend looked out our window and said, "Look! It is just like the tree with the AUM in the photo, only it is in different colors!" He was right. The tree outside my window in Melbourne had an AUM right in its vibrant green leafy center. The tree we had just been looking at in the AUM Gallery revealed the AUM shape in its golden autumn leaves.

The other day, my friend excitedly called me into the garden and showed me the beauty in a leaf. I feel that seeing the photos on the Siddha Yoga path website has inspired him to experience nature in a new way.

The AUM Nature Gallery is wonderful. After looking at previous nature galleries on the website, I have begun seeing hearts in so many forms of nature; in the clouds, shapes of petals on flowers, designs in the earth. I feel like my eyes have been adjusted to see hearts wherever I go. I see them in the skies in Australia now, in our own flowers and rocks.
 
Now the invitation to discover AUM in nature brings a huge smile on my face, as I know this will tune my vision to see AUM in my own skies, in my own back yard.
