A Temple of…

Reading about all of the wonderful intentions appearing on the Siddha Yoga path website each day leads me to spend time contemplating each one. There is so much depth to them. I am inspired to look within, to really appreciate and nurture that which is inherent in us all. That is where I want to abide.

First thing in the morning, I have been repeating A Temple of…and adding the qualities rising from within me. Immediately, I feel I am with Gurumayi in my heart. Immediately, I feel the sacred space of Bade Baba’s Temple enfold me. Tears wash my face.
I feel gratitude for Shri Guru’s grace that is always present and brings me hope. My gratitude arises from experiencing the terrain of my own heart.

My immediate thought was that I would like to be A temple of gratitude. I practice gratitude through my feelings, thoughts, and actions: feeling grateful, counting my blessings, and expressing my appreciation for the kindness of others. Becoming “a temple of gratitude” is a state of being that fills my heart.
I am grateful for having Gurumayi in my life and to Gurumayi for guiding me in my sadhana and always protecting me in ways I may not even know.

I live in A temple of gratitude. Next month I will be seventy-nine years old. I have come to realize that everything that has happened in my life—every experience, every meeting—has been exactly the right thing.
