“The magic of time” reminds me to approach time with reverence, recognizing it as a sacred gift. Then ordinary tasks become acts of devotion, challenges turn into opportunities for growth, and moments of stillness lead to profound insights.

In this way, time becomes an ally, guiding me to manifest the highest aspirations of my soul. With the Guru’s grace, I will honor time as a companion on my spiritual journey, using it to grow, transform, and fulfill my divine purpose.

It was a very good experience for me to apply Gurumayi’s teaching, “The magic of time” throughout my day. I was able to feel the importance and power of time. I also realized that if I am ready to perceive all conditions as arising in “the magic of time,” then even hard situations can offer me positive insights.

I realized time is an aspect of God and contains great wisdom.

“The magic of time” reminded me of when my mother used to bake bread and other confections and delicious foods for our family. When baking time was done, we were always so happy to enjoy her precious baked goods.

So too in sadhana, we are “baked” until our understanding of the Guru’s wisdom and precious teachings is complete within us. Like magic,  the Guru’s gifts fill our hearts, nourishing us.

“The magic of time.” I love to contemplate this teaching It makes me realize that all the magic of this earth happens in the space of time that has been given to me.

In an instant, the sun enchants the morning sky. In an instant, I see the colors of the rainbow on the scales of a fish jumping out of the water. In an instant, my Guru awakens the dormant Kundalini Shakti in a yearning soul. In an instant, a small plant emerges from the earth and grows up toward the sun. In an instant, a large tree’s leaves begin to play in the wind. In an instant, a jasmine flower opens its petals and spreads its fragrance into the atmosphere. This world is full of magic.

After reading teaching 3 from Gurumayi, I experienced pure joy; I was in awe of the Guru’s grace. I have been going through challenging times the last few months, but I have been putting in my self-effort every day by performing the Siddha Yoga practices. This morning, I felt a sudden turn of events, and the possibility arose of a positive outcome. This was completely unexpected. I wondered how this could be possible.

Then, as part of my daily schedule, I visited the Siddha Yoga path website this afternoon, and there I saw teaching 3. Suddenly, it all made sense to me: if I use my time well, then time will reveal its magic to me.

I am grateful to Gurumayi for this profound understanding.
