Recently, I took part in an important business transaction. In past situations like these, I’ve often agreed to less beneficial terms out of a desire to please other people. This time, however, I didn’t accept unreasonable demands.
Afterward, during my meditation practice, I experienced that I was full of the shining presence of the Guru.

When I later contemplated my experience, I realized that, for the week leading up to this interaction, I had begun every day by watching the video of Baba’s core teachings on the Siddha Yoga Path website. As I did so, I had focused particularly intently on Baba’s words: “Honor your Self. Meditate on your Self. God dwells inside you.” So, during my business transaction, I found myself very naturally following Baba’s teachings. I valued and honored my true Self. I am forever grateful for the presence of Shri Guru that I experience within.

I am so thankful for Baba ji’s core teachings. I am the owner of a shop, and when I follow Baba ji’s teaching, “See God in each other, it helps me to talk to each and every customer with great respect and love. Doing this keeps me joyful and happy.

I have known the words of Baba’s core teachings for years. Recently, while repeating them to myself, the question arose: “What does ‘Honor your Self’ actually mean in my life?” I began by thinking of how I would treat an honored guest at my home and table. I would be fully attentive to their needs and desires. Their happiness would be my happiness. Thus, it seems that “Honor your Self” is about a focused, wholehearted relationship between me and my own Self. I am grateful to Gurumayi for this contemplation, which deepened my understanding of the true meaning of Baba’s words.

Baba Muktananda’s teachings are precious gems! When I practice them, they transform my life.

Baba’s teachings, “See God in each other” and “Welcome each other with great respect and love,” have been doing wonders in my personal and professional life.

I am a university professor, and I say these two teachings silently to myself before every class. I look at each of my students with love and respect, and I see their smiling faces. My state becomes blissful. I experience my students becoming attentive and relaxed. This helps me to teach my subject more patiently. There is increased participation among the students, and classes turn interactive.

I am so grateful to Baba ji for giving us these deeply meaningful, yet simple teachings! In a world that can be sometimes chaotic, they help me live joyfully.

As I watched the video of Baba’s teachings, I was inspired to contemplate the different ways in which I can honor my Self.

I found that I can honor my Self by respecting, imbibing, and putting into practice Shri Guru’s teachings. I can honor my Self by meditating and doing the practices. And I can honor my Self by loving and respecting other people, and in this way honor the Self of everyone and everything!

I am really loving exploring and re-exploring Baba’s teachings. A few days ago, as I sat down to begin a fresh seva project, I instinctively opened the Siddha Yoga path website and was drawn immediately into this sea of nectar. I began to smile as I savored each teaching. I repeated each one and felt it center me and draw me into my heart. Every day now, I look forward to this moment of soothing calm before I begin my workday.

I intend to write each teaching on a fresh page in my journal so that I can focus on it in my meditation.

For me, Baba’s core teachings contain so much. They can seem so simple, and yet they are so profound.

They invite me to be in my heart, to live from my heart, to perceive the world with the eyes of my heart, and to let the love of my heart grow each day. They show me the magnificence of all hearts and the infinite power of love. They invite me to see and feel the love within me and all around me.

These beautiful and profound teachings of Baba Muktananda are what originally drew me to the Siddha Yoga path. I am forever grateful that Baba so clearly and simply conveyed what I instantly felt was the Truth. These are the most important teachings for me to imbibe.

As I was watching the video and imbibing Baba’s core teachings, I experienced a pure deep silence. For me, this profound silence reflects the immensity of the blue Consciousness and the intimacy of God’s presence.

I keep in my heart the instant that I saw the Blue Pearl dancing in front of Baba. This extraordinary vision infused a shimmering light into my life and has enabled me to share my love with others.
