I appreciate Eesha’s research and clarity in contemplating and presenting Gurumayi’s question to us, “What is the difference between eternity and infinity?” And it is wonderful to read that in the context of light, the distinction between eternity and infinity disappears.
In my contemplation, I think of light not so much as physical light, but as the light of awareness, the light by which I know myself and the world. That light, awakened by the gift of shaktipat, shines into my day-to-day life and dissolves the differences between myself and the world. By focusing on Gurumayi’s teachings, I have experienced a gradual and fundamental shift: I experience that the world and my thoughts are arising within that knowing, silent light, which I more and more recognize as my true nature. I am filled with gratitude!

My heart leapt in joy to receive the darshan and wisdom of Time in Nature. I was delighted by the billowing heart-shaped clouds in the center of the first image, which reminded me of the column of light and being in my own center. As I listened to the flute, I was taken on a journey, and each image evoked a different quality inside—for example, peace, harmony, beauty, radiance, love, playfulness.
As I watched the images, my breath deepened and my mind became quiet. I felt so peaceful seeing Gurumayi and nature interacting so sweetly together. I felt truly full after receiving Gurumayi’s darshan and the wisdom from both nature and the verses from Shri Guru Gita.

I love experiencing Gurumayi in nature, especially the way she interacts with creatures such as the butterfly. The flute music is so evocative and reminds me of the feeling I have when I listen to the wind.
This inspired me to be in nature yesterday and visit places I had enjoyed as a child, places I felt were magical. I stood above rockpools, enjoying the sunshine, the wind, the sound of the ocean. I felt eternal and blissful. I sensed God in the air and knew that despite all the changes in my being, the essence of nature endures.

What a sublime and generous offering of darshan of my beloved Gurumayi, surrounded by the beauty and aliveness of Mother Nature. I feel my soul nourished in the company of both, which fills my heart with joy and gratitude.

This morning in my journal, I copied verse 116 of Shri Guru Gita from Time in Nature. Afterward, during meditation, I watched pulses of white light appear in my consciousness as the breath repeated Hamsa, accompanied by the soft hum of nada. This blissful experience lasted for a long time. When I came out of meditation, I felt that my faith in the Guru and the Siddha Yoga path had been nourished and strengthened by my experience. This small act of aligning myself with the Guru’s grace had such a beneficial and powerful effect. I understood at a deep level that if I follow the path revealed by Shri Guru, I will attain everything that I long for.

After experiencing the wonder of Gurumayi’s darshan, I closed my eyes and sank into meditation, opening the gift of Time in Nature.
I experienced my innermost Self as the observer of my thoughts, my feelings, my body, and Consciousness—an observer that is formless, without attributes, and completely free. This liberating experience released warm, pulsating love in my heart and sweet gratitude for the invaluable presence of my Guru in my life.

When I am in nature, I do not question God. I am in God and with God, God is within me, and everything is as it should be. Nothing is discordant; even in a storm, there is terrible beauty.
I am grateful to Gurumayi for these beautiful pictures and this timely reminder. And today, I’ll let my feet do the praying because they are taking me on a long hike.

I find this celebration of nature to be very moving. The exquisite pictures of Gurumayi interacting with nature and nature interacting with Gurumayi instill a deep feeling of tranquility in me. And the verses from Shri Guru Gita reawaken my sense of devotion. This is a reminder to me that no matter what takes place around the world, there is still such profound beauty—always.
May we treat each other with as much tenderness and care as Gurumayi and the butterflies treated each other.
Here’s to the embrace of grace, that extraordinary blessing!

From the images in Time in Nature, this phrase arose within me: “There is nowhere where the Guru is not”—from the billowy clouds to the Guru’s outstretched hand.
This morning while meditating to the sound of the flute playing in Time in Nature, I heard Gurumayi’s voice saying, Come with me. Time is an illusion. Nature is the teacher. For a moment in time I was not my body, I was not focused on me. I was timeless, I was the butterfly. I floated effortlessly through the nature of time. I felt content to just be.
