Dear Siddha Yogis,
Great joy resounded in our hearts when the Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014 was recently announced globally. Many of you received Gurumayi's Message for 2014 in A Sweet Surprise satsang. The practice of chanting is a perfect way to study and engage with Gurumayi’s Message. Isn’t it marvelous that the first ever Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour will be held in March and April this very year!
Over the past three decades Gurumayi has taught and refined the practice of Siddha Yoga chanting by composing and arranging new chants, elucidating the power of the practice, distilling its essential aspects into Siddha Yoga music principles, and guiding and training Siddha Yoga musicians.
In her book Remembrance, Gurumayi teaches about the practice of chanting. Gurumayi says,
Chanting has so much power. You might think of chanting as an ordinary practice, but truly speaking, with so many people throughout the world chanting, creating a wonderful atmosphere through their voices, an incredible power is created. Never underestimate the power of pure chanting.
The Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014 will be an amazing opportunity for us all—children, young people, and families; Siddha Yogis and new seekers to the Siddha Yoga path—to immerse ourselves in chanting. On every continent we will join our voices in praise of the Divine, and the whole world will benefit from the blessings generated during this Chanting Tour.
Participants in the tour will study, practice, assimilate, and implement the Siddha Yoga practice of chanting. Participants will work with Siddha Yoga music principles, refine their skill in listening to the sublime sounds of the chants, and learn to chant with one unified voice. Together, we will experience the power of Siddha Yoga chanting.
With delight, we invite you to join us for the Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014.
